Write Your First Helm Chart
The tax-calc team keeps copying the same ConfigMap between environments. Turn it into a chart so each environment sets only its own value.
/home/student/charts/tax-calc named tax-calc, chart version 0.1.0. helm lint must pass.message. It renders a ConfigMap tax-calc-settings whose key message holds that value. The ConfigMap's data must come from the value, not be hard-coded.tax-calc from this chart in the namespace returns with message set to willow.Start with helm create --help, or write the files by hand.
About this machine
Ubuntu 24.04 with a private practice cluster: a real Kubernetes API server, scheduler and controllers, and three nodes (controlplane, node01, node02). Containers are simulated, so images never download and kubectl logs/exec are not available. k is an alias for kubectl, with completion. The grader checks the cluster's final state, not the commands you typed.
