The new release of payouts in loyalty doesn't start: both Pods stay Pending. The app must run on the workers with SSDs (node01 and node02, labelled disk=ssd), and caches data on the volume loyalty-payouts-cache that the storage team prepared for it.

Task

Both Pods of payouts are running, on node01 or node02.
The Deployment still requires nodes labelled disk=ssd.
The claim payouts-cache is bound to the PersistentVolume loyalty-payouts-cache.
Don't relabel or taint the nodes, and don't change the PersistentVolume.

Start with kubectl describe pod -n loyalty -l app=payouts, and read the Events.

About this machine

Ubuntu 24.04 with a private practice cluster: a real Kubernetes API server, scheduler and controllers, and three nodes (controlplane, node01, node02). Containers are simulated, so images never download and kubectl logs/exec are not available. k is an alias for kubectl, with completion. The grader checks the cluster's final state, not the commands you typed.
