The ledgerd CLI was unpacked to /opt/ledgerd, but nobody can run it by name: every user gets command not found.

Task

  • In every user's login shell (for example student and yusuf), ledgerd must run by name and resolve to /opt/ledgerd/bin/ledgerd.
  • Configure it once, system-wide: do not edit files in users' home directories.
  • Do not copy or link the binary somewhere else, and keep the existing PATH entries working.

About this machine

Ubuntu 24.04 with no internet access. You are student with passwordless sudo. The grader checks the final state of the machine, not the commands you typed. Values like names and ports are generated for you.
