SELinux Modes and Reboots
While troubleshooting, an admin runs setenforce 0. /etc/selinux/config contains SELINUX=enforcing. The server is then rebooted. What is the SELinux mode after the reboot?
setenforce 0
/etc/selinux/config
SELINUX=enforcing
Choose one answer
Permissive, because setenforce writes the new mode to the config file.
setenforce
Disabled, because setenforce 0 turns SELinux off completely.
Enforcing, because setenforce changes only the running mode; the config file decides the mode at boot.
Permissive until restorecon -R / is run.
restorecon -R /
