This server moves to the new data-centre DNS.

Task

Configure the resolver (/etc/resolv.conf) so that:

  • it asks 10.20.0.2 first and 10.20.0.3 second, and no other name server
  • short names are tried with the domains mesh.corp.internal and then corp.internal
  • each query waits at most 2 seconds and is tried 3 times

About this machine

Ubuntu 24.04 with no internet access. You are student with passwordless sudo. The grader checks the final state of the machine, not the commands you typed. Values like names and ports are generated for you.
