An external health checker polls audit-log at http://<any node>:32684/, and gets no answer. The audit-log Deployment in finance is healthy; its containers listen on port 80 (named http).

Task

  • The Service audit-log in finance makes the app reachable on port 32684 of every node.
  • Its endpoints are exactly the 3 Pods of audit-log, and traffic reaches their port 80.
  • Don't change the Deployment.

There may be more than one thing wrong. Start with kubectl get svc,endpointslices -n finance.

About this machine

Ubuntu 24.04 with a private practice cluster: a real Kubernetes API server, scheduler and controllers, and three nodes (controlplane, node01, node02). Containers are simulated, so images never download and kubectl logs/exec are not available. k is an alias for kubectl, with completion. The grader checks the cluster's final state, not the commands you typed.
